Last week I was invited to an event held by Refinery 29 and Bloom and Wild to celebrate the launch of a new bouquet held at The Hoxton Shoreditch.
10% of proceeds go towards Woman’s Aid which supports women who have been victims of Domestic Violence.
The signature bouquet is bright vibrant and beautiful. The story behind it is based on the idea that when a woman receives flowers she usually feels special and loved. A lot of women experiencing domestic violence won’t be feeling like this. By supporting the bouquet and donating towards Women’s Aid the concept is that as Women (not explicitly) – but as women we have each others backs and by buying the bouquet we are supporting those women who may feel alone and like nobody has their back.
The event held in the Garden room at The Hoxton was full of some of London’s most stylish women. It got me all excited for summer. With cocktails and a INCREDIBLE cake by Georgia’s Cakes plus a flower-crown workshop (How to make your own flower crowns and a nail bar – if you follow this blog you will know I love nails!) there was lots of positive energy in the room and it was nice to support such a wonderful cause.
