Will Snapchat Filters be the new Halloween make-up trend?

desig

If you’ve been paying attention to the catwalks or have been scrolling through Pinterest lately you would have noticed that Snapchat filter make-up is now a ‘thing’. I’m definitely a fan, it’s cute and super creative and with Halloween fast approaching why not put a spooky spin or this Snapchat phenomena.

Take Desigual at NYFW they went super ‘filter-happy’ and wanted to have a little fun with the models makeup alongside showcasing their designs.

Halloween is coming up in a few days, and I am very sure some of you are still struggling to pick what you want to dress up as. I know we aren’t all make-up whizzes but there are plenty of tutorials online so there is time to practice at home. If you’re not brave enough how about hiring an MUA for the night instead.

2016 has pretty much been the year of selfie, with filters galore. Even Instagram tried to hatch on to the trend by creating their own Snapchat-like timeline on their app. It’s pretty difficult not to be generic when it comes to Halloween dress-up so the Snapchat filter is a fresh alternative.

The list below will help you out!

-The Flower Crown Queen
-The Golden Crown Princess
-The Face-Swap
-The Fox
-The Geek
-The Pink Bunny
-The Bumble Bee
– The Rainbow Mouth
-The Racoon
– The Pop art

The list goes on… if you get stuck you can always load up your Snapchat and jog your memory!

You don’t have to copy the exact filter looks. Remember you can always make the pretty ones scary. BE CREATIVE. Make it unique and different from what people might be expecting to see.

If you were to pick a look now, what would you go for and how would you recreate it into a more Halloweeny look? Let us know in the comment section below!

Have a fab Halloween!
