CODE Beautiful VLM Mascara review

Finding the right mascara is like trying to find the right partner – it isn’t always easy. Personally, I struggle with finding the perfect lash lengthener due to my lashes varying on each eye and being fairly long. Many a mascara has left me with clumpy, dry and heavy lashes – not exactly the look I want to model on myself.

CODE Beautiful were lovely enough to gift me with their new VLM MINI Volumising Lengthening Mascara so I decided to put their product to the test! Said to have an ‘exceptional brush that gives fabulous lash lift, length and volume‘ I couldn’t wait to give it a go.

After checking out the brush I was slightly worried that this little mascara wouldn’t quite suit my lashes, but I was proved wrong. I trusted the instructions on the back of the packaging and got the brush as close to my lashes as possible, before wiggling the brush at the roots and sweeping through the rest of my lashes.

AFTER
I was left with long, defined, glossy lashes! It stayed on all day and didn’t budge even after a long walk outside on a windy April day. Panda eyes were nowhere to be seen which made a lovely change. I did wonder whether it would be hard to take off but I just used my ordinary cleansing oil and it came of after a few swipes. Perfect for people like me who HATE taking their makeup off.

The size of this mascara is perfect for keeping in your handbag to use as a top up throughout the day and it’s definitely worth it’s £10 label. Would I buy this mascara – yes I would.

Look of product: 9/10
Easy to use: 10/10
Price: £ – easy on the purse.
