According to US reports this morning, Cheryl Cole has been sacked from the US X Factor judging panel.

There is speculation as to why Ms Cole has left. Some American sources believe it was because she didn’t connect with fellow judge Paula Abdul and that American audiences would find it hard to understand her Geordie accent.

Other reports claim it was Cheryl’s choice to leave the show as she was homesick. Rumours say Nicole Scherzinger, who was set to be co-hosting the live shows, will be taking her place.

Her publicist refuses to comment.

Whatever the reason we wish Cheryl all the best as it must be hard going through such a public humiliation, let alone losing a job!
